TEENA MARIE PASSES AWAY IN HER SLEEP AT THE AGE OF 54.
March 5, 1956 - December 26, 2010


Award-winning singer-songwriter known for her R&B performances, has died on Sunday, as reported by her manager according to CNN.

TMZ reported that the 54-year-old Grammy nominated singer died in her sleep last night, which was confirmed by Teena’s rep, Lynn Jeter. Reasons or causes of Teena's death are unknown at this time.

She was once known as Rick James’ protégée Teena Marie worked with Rick James when she first gained popularity in the late ‘70s and ‘80s. Her first top ten hit was “I’m Just a Sucker for Your Love” and her biggest hit, according to sound scan, was 1984’s “Lovergirl.”

Two of her albums went platinum and six achieved gold status, according to sound scan.

She was scheduled to play the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on New Years Day.

Well people looks like its not ludacris to think that Ludacris feels like its time to drop a gem.Yeah people gem is a CD.He plans or it looks as if he has already started work on it by stepping in the studio wit the folks he started out and who put him on the map...Neptunes.He has even gotten a title already "Ludaversal".Hopefully this will help in his slowing sales.He'll likely work with a set of other up and coming producers who are "hungry".Ludacris also seems to keep his ear to the streets.




Speaking of ear to the streets,word has it that Ludacris has borrowed a swag from none other than DRAKE.Do you think so ?

Janet Jackson will embark on a world tour next year that will feature performances of her number-one singles — and nothing else which just happen to be 35 of them and one of the dates will be Feb.14,2011 in Hong Kong.She wants to perform in venues that will allow her fans (including my brother..lol only a joke..lol) to see her intimately up close and personal.

The artist, who released her retrospective LP “Number Ones” earlier this year, will play 35 dates across the globe, where she will perform each of her 35 chart toppers.




In a blog on her official website, Jackson wrote: “During the past several months I’ve had such wonderful experiences. I’ve released my Number Ones CD ... and throughout this time I’ve heard from you – my fans – whom I cherish dearly.

“Many have asked when I will tour again – well today I’m really excited to answer that question, and I announce my largest ever world tour, celebrating 35 number ones.

“This tour will be different from those of the past in the way that I will exclusively perform songs from my number ones. You’ll hear all the hits in 35 cities, which I want you to help me select.”
