NEW ARTIST: EMELI SANDE' "NEXT TO ME"

Adele Emeli Sandé born 10 March 1987, better known professional as Emeli Sandé, is a Scottish recording artist and phenominal songwriter. Emeli first to people by storm after she was featured on the track "Diamond Rings" by the rapper Chipmunk. It was their first top 10 single on the UK Singles Chart. In 2010, she was featured on "Never Be Your Woman" by the rapper Wiley, which became another top ten hit. Simon Cowell called Sandé "his favorite songwriter at the minute". She has written for a number of artists, outside the U.S. and some names you may know including Cher Lloyd, Parade, Susan Boyle, Gabrielle, Preeya Kalidas, Leona Lewis, Alesha Dixon, Cheryl Cole, Tinie Tempah, and Mutya Keisha Siobhan just to name a few.

In 2010, she signed a publishing deal with EMI Music Publishing. Later announced that Virgin Records had offered a record deal. Sandé released her first solo single "Heaven" in August 2011. Sandé has two number-one singles across the United Kingdom and Ireland with "Read All About It" with Professor Green and "Next to Me". Her album Our Version of Events peaked at number one in the UK, soon after its release in February 2012 . In 2012 she performed in both the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the London Olympics. Who can say that ?!?!?! lol

Emeli revealed that she is actually one of Simon Cowell's favorite song-writers of the moment,(the moment?? with a gift like that, Emeli is well on her way!!) due to her writing songs for Leona Lewis and Susan Boyle. Sandé stated in an interview; she said that she would love to meet Boyle after writing songs for her saying, "I've never met her yet. I just sent her the song. I’d love to meet her because I think she is a bit of a rock star." One song that Sandé had cowritten for Boyle will appear on her new album, titled "This Will Be The Year". Leona had heard a couple of songs so we had a week in the studio with her. "Leona and I got along really great". Then we had another week together. It was very natural. She recorded a song called "Trouble" and another called "Mountains", so I look forward to hearing them on her album."

Andwele Gardner,better known by his stage name Dwele who is a soul singer, songwriter and record producer from Detroit, Michigan. He played piano from the age of six, later started to play the trumpet, then bass and guitar. Having to deal with his fathers death which was a fatal shooting outside his home when he was only ten, later stating "I learned to put my emotions into music; it was my therapy."He cites Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Roy Ayers, Miles Davis, and Freddie Hubbard as favorite artists, and took inspiration from hip hop group A Tribe Called Quest, becoming an MC, and working with Slum Village.

Gardner recorded a demo in his bedroom, called, The Rize, and sold it out of the trunk of his car.He had about 100 copies, which sold out within a week. He caught the ears of local heroes Slum Village and more specifically their world-renowned producer J Dilla. Slum Village invited Dwele to sing the hook of the song "Tainted" for their album Trinity (Past, Present and Future). It became an instant classic and led to more high profile work with female rapper Bahamadia, the all-star group Lucy Pearl and London's New Sector Movement. Dwele signed to Virgin Records in 2003, and the label released his debut album, Subject, which mixed neo soul and hip hop.

Dwele was soon featured on the first single from Kanye West's fifth studio album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The song is entitled "Power".Dwele released the first single, "What Profit", from his forthcoming fifth studio album. The song was written and produced by Mike City - the same producer behind his other singles "I Think I Love U" and "What's Not To Love". The song was sent to radio on May 22, 2012.
